3 years ago GFP begun exploring the possibility of putting what it had learned about the furniture market into the garden buildings market. After many months of design and planning, 2005 saw the installation of a new million pound line. The line is capable of 100m3 per shift. It makes either shiplap or matchings, it makes nothing else. (Shiplap is the weatherboarding used to make a shed, matchings are the Tongued and Grooved flooring and roofing pieces). In the UK it is estimated 10 million garden buildings are sold every year.
